The 32-year-old will appear in HBO's Lanterns as John Stewart and join the Star Wars universe, marking a significant expansion of his profile following his 2024 breakthrough in Netflix's action thriller Rebel Ridge.

Fatherhood as a Career Compass

Pierre explained his approach to selecting roles through the lens of paternal responsibility. He stated that any opportunity requiring him to be away from his son must directly contribute to a legacy that will inspire the child. The actor has chosen to keep his son's name private, as well as details about the child's mother.

This philosophy extends into his creative process. While voicing the character Mane Attraction in the animated film GOAT, Pierre brought his son into the recording studio.
