The 787-9, registered as N840AN and delivered to American Airlines in 2019, landed safely on Runway 28L after approximately six hours of flight time from Rome.

Emergency medical personnel met the aircraft at the gate and evaluated the six affected flight attendants along with one passenger who reported symptoms.
