Apple Opens iOS 27 Public Beta With Advanced Siri AI and Performance Upgrades

Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 27, introducing its long-awaited Siri AI assistant and promising substantial performance improvements across compatible devices. The new Siri transforms from a voice-command system into a conversational AI assistant capable of understanding context, answering questions about on-screen content, and executing multi-step actions within apps.

Siri AI and Apple Intelligence

The centerpiece of iOS 27 is the reimagined Siri, available on all Apple Intelligence-capable devices. Users can activate the assistant through voice commands, the side button, or by swiping down from the Dynamic Island. The new Siri can search device documents and emails, identify photos, retrieve information about websites, provide location recommendations, and create home automations.
