Madix competes against RuPaul Charles (RuPaul's Drag Race), Alan Cumming (The Traitors), Kristen Kish (Top Chef), and Jeff Probst (Survivor).

Madix described the surprise announcement with characteristic humor, explaining that as an anxious person, a sudden early-morning room phone call initially alarmed her. She feared something had gone wrong before learning about her nomination. The television personality admitted she was so drowsy during the initial call that she returned to bed uncertain whether the conversation had actually happened, only to confirm hours later that the honor was real.

Madix's Role at Love Island USA

The Vanderpump Rules alumna joined Love Island USA as host in 2023 for season six and has become instrumental in the show's rise as one of Peacock's most popular original series. Since taking the position, she has hosted three consecutive seasons and is currently filming the eighth installment. Madix expressed that her nomination feels particularly meaningful because she had been a longtime franchise enthusiast before being selected as host, suggesting her genuine passion for the show translates on screen.
