Renshaw's Dominant Innings Powers Australia
Playing in Chattogram, Renshaw combined aggressive striking with composure across his 52-ball knock, hitting four boundaries and five sixes. His partnership with Tim David added 97 runs from 50 deliveries for the fourth wicket, providing the foundation for Australia's commanding total. After David departed for 45, struck from 26 balls with two fours and four sixes, Renshaw guided the lower order to push Australia past 190.
"I think it was just understanding the way that I wanted to play, trusting that, and fortunately, I got the rewards today," Renshaw said after the match. "We obviously got a good score, and they came out pretty well and hard." He later contributed 1-13 with the ball as Australia's bowlers contained Bangladesh's chase.
Bangladesh Fights Back but Falls Short
Bangladesh started aggressively, reaching 72-1 in six overs—its highest powerplay score against Australia—with Tanzid Hasan striking 30 from 15 balls. However, Australia's spin attack tightened in the middle overs. Renshaw dismissed Tanzid with a return catch, triggering the breakthrough, while Saif Hassan's 42 from 33 deliveries proved insufficient. Aaron Hardie took two wickets for 40 runs across four overs as Bangladesh's momentum stalled.
Series Clinched After Opening Victory

Davies, making his debut for Australia, took particular satisfaction in his performance. Cooper Connolly then guided Australia to 133-6 in 18.2 overs to secure that opening win, setting the tone for the series.
