The first Power of Veto competition of Big Brother 28 has reshaped the game's early landscape, with Head of Household Dee Valladares making a critical replacement nomination that fundamentally altered the week's eviction trajectory. Veto Meeting and Nomination Shift

Dee Valladares, competing alongside Survivor veteran Rick Devens, had initially nominated Mallory Aurichio, Yash Patel, and Taylor Brown for eviction. However, Jason De Puy presents an emerging challenge to the reality television establishment. Competing under his given name to avoid detection, Jason is the drag persona Salina EsTitties, a fan-favorite competitor from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 15 who later returned for All Stars Season 11. Rather than reveal his entertainment industry background, Jason is positioning himself as a freshman player who opposes the dominance of the three established reality figures.

In strategic conversations, Jason has proposed targeting Rick Devens as "Big Daddy," while also placing Dee and Angela on his long-term hit list. His concern centers on the outsized influence these veteran reality competitors are exerting on the season's narrative, arguing that the newer players will only gain meaningful visibility once the trio is eliminated from the house.
