Trail was nominated after Head of Household Dee Valladares—also a Survivor champion—exhausted her limited options following the Power of Veto competition. Valladares initially nominated Mallory Aurichio, Taylor Brown, and Yash Patel. Aurichio won the Power of Veto and removed herself from the block, leaving Valladares to select Trail as the replacement nominee. During the BB Blockbuster competition, Yash secured safety, leaving Trail and Taylor as the final two nominees facing eviction.

New Leadership and Alliance Formations

Devens' Head of Household victory marks the second consecutive week a Survivor competitor holds power in the house. Following his nomination ceremony, Devens has consolidated two separate alliance structures—The Red Corner and the Crossovers—into a larger eight-person alliance called The Toolshed. The alliance members include Devens, Valladares, Angela, Kamu, Barrett, Chuck, Haley, and Drew. Devens has nominated Jason, Melody, and Lyric for eviction.
