The North Carolina State Highway Patrol stopped Jen Belichick on May 21 for speeding in Brunswick County. She was cited for a misdemeanor violation and scheduled to appear in court on Friday. Court records show she did not attend the hearing, prompting the judge to issue the arrest order on Monday.

According to court officials, Belichick now has three paths forward. She can file a motion to recall the arrest order and request a new court date, hire an attorney to handle her case, or turn herself in to authorities. As of the time these reports surfaced, she had not made a public statement regarding the order.

Jen Belichick has been married to Steve Belichick for approximately 10 years, and the couple has multiple children together. Steve currently serves as the defensive coordinator for the University of North Carolina football program.
