The recall affects one-pint, one-litre, and two-litre bottles with a use-by date of 31 July, with the company advising customers not to consume the product and to return it for a full refund.

Scope of the Recall

The affected milk is distributed through leading UK supermarket chains including Tesco, Asda, and Morrisons. Scotland's Food Standards Agency and the Food Standards Agency have classified the product as unsafe to drink, particularly for individuals with documented allergies to penicillin or other antibiotics. Graham's Family Dairy, Scotland's largest independent dairy producer, confirmed that no other product lines or expiration dates are affected by the contamination issue.

According to food safety authorities, the presence of trace-level antibiotics in the milk could trigger allergic reactions in vulnerable consumers.
