Although he has been collaborating with his technical team remotely for several weeks, the visit marked his first in-person engagement at the club's headquarters since his official appointment on June 11. The manager wore the club's current season kit as he walked through the facilities, presenting what observers described as a composed and optimistic demeanor.

In remarks to the club's media team, Mourinho emphasised the distinction between working "in" Real Madrid and working "for" Real Madrid. He stated that words alone cannot capture the significance of the role, describing it as rooted in responsibility and honor rather than personal gain or financial concern. His framing suggests a philosophical approach to management centred on collective improvement across all levels of the organisation, from players to support staff.

Pre-Season Preparation and Staff Structure

The manager confirmed that preparation for the upcoming preseason has been underway for an extended period through remote collaboration with Real Madrid's structural departments. The preseason schedule officially begins Monday with medical examinations.
