The timing change sets the stage for what Maya Jama will deliver once the initial islanders have coupled up following their first meeting. Twelve singles from across the United Kingdom and Ireland are entering the villa. The line-up includes a primary school teacher, a student, a model, a real estate videographer, a quantity surveyor and DJ, a business owner, a detective, a nurse, an electrician, and a fashion business owner. Names confirmed include Sean, Mica, Lorenzo, Robyn, Ellie, Samraj, Lola, Angelista, and Samuel, among others.

Islanders have outlined their romantic criteria during pre-show interviews. Samuel is seeking "someone classy, mature, blonde, fun, and someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously," while acknowledging he's never competed for romantic attention before. Lola expressed a desire to avoid drama despite enjoying it as a viewer, stating she's "really looking for love" and hopes to find "someone who is actually the love of my life, like obsessed with me kind of thing." Ope prioritises "energy, vibes" and compatibility with his sense of humour, while ruling out "negative energy" and those uninterested in enjoyment.
