Spain's national weather authority, Aemet, has issued yellow alert status for the interior regions, with daytime highs reaching 37 degrees Celsius and tropical night temperatures between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius limiting overnight relief. The agency projects temporary moderation midweek before another surge beginning Sunday, though forecasters cautioned that subsequent predictions require confirmation.
