Manchester City F.C. Launches Community Ticket Initiative Starting at £10 for Local Residents
Manchester City F.C. will trial discounted tickets priced at £10 for local adults starting next season across five surrounding wards.

Manchester City F.C. will offer adults living in five surrounding neighborhoods discounted Premier League matchday tickets at £10, with concession rates at £7.50 and £5 for under-18s. The club will reserve between 100 and 500 tickets per home match at the reduced rate, alongside a third consecutive season of frozen standard ticket prices and new entry-level options beginning at £25 for select midweek fixtures.
Community Access Program Details
The initiative targets residents in Ancoats & Beswick, Clayton & Openshaw, Gorton & Abbey Hey, Ardwick, and Miles Platting & Newton Heath. Applicants must provide proof of postal address within these Manchester city council wards to access the discounted inventory. The program extends to Premier League home games, selected domestic cup matches, and certain European competitions.
Danny Wilson, the club's managing director of operations, stated that Manchester City remains committed to ensuring residents closest to the Etihad Campus continue participating in the club's activities. He acknowledged that matchdays generate significant social and economic opportunities for the surrounding area while recognizing the increased traffic and activity from expanded facilities and fixture schedules.
Stadium Expansion and Leadership Transition
The Pep Guardiola Stand, the expanded North Stand, hosted a stadium-record crowd of 60,332 during the final match of the previous campaign against Aston Villa. That game marked the conclusion of Guardiola's decade-long tenure as manager. Incoming manager Enzo Maresca will debut in the Community Shield against Arsenal, with the first home Premier League fixture of the new season scheduled against Bournemouth.
The ticket freeze represents a sustained effort to maintain affordability despite growing operational demands. Combined with the new community pricing tier and entry-level midweek rates, the club is attempting to balance revenue requirements with accessibility for different supporter demographics.
