Cape May's Peter Shields Inn, a Georgian Revival beachfront restaurant and luxury hotel at 1301 Beach Avenue, has announced a change in ownership after 16 years under its current operators. Carl and Megan Messick will assume control of the establishment, which has earned recognition as one of the region's top-rated dining destinations. The transition represents a significant moment for one of Cape May's most established hospitality ventures, though operations are expected to continue without interruption.
