The image served as the backdrop for announcing the book distribution program, which centers on "Impossible Creatures," a fantasy novel by author Katherine Rundell. Each copy distributed to schools and libraries will include a personalized message from the Queen, in which she describes the work as a "brilliant fantasy that will introduce you to a host of mythical friends and terrifying enemies."

The initiative has been developed in partnership with the National Literacy Trust, an organization of which the Queen serves as patron.
