Aberdeen has secured the permanent signing of winger Tony Yogane from Brentford on a long-term contract through 2030. The 20-year-old's move follows a successful loan spell at Dundee, where he made 42 appearances and established himself as one of the Scottish Premiership's standout performers. From Sheffield Wednesday to Aberdeen

Yogane began his development through Sheffield Wednesday's academy before joining Brentford in 2022 at age 16. He progressed through the club's B team structure and earned his first-team debut in September 2024 during a Carabao Cup victory over Leyton Orient under manager Thomas Frank. He subsequently appeared on the bench in several Premier League matches before gaining valuable competitive experience on loan.

His spell at Exeter City in Sky Bet League One proved instrumental in his development, but it was his loan at Dundee where Yogane truly flourished. Over the 2024-25 season, he made 36 appearances for the Dens Park side, contributing one goal and five assists while establishing himself as a key attacking player in the Scottish top flight.

Aberdeen's Statement of Intent
