World of Warcraft Players Can Claim Exclusive Transmog Set Through Twitch Drops Starting August 11

Blizzard Entertainment is launching a month-long Twitch Drops campaign for World of Warcraft players, offering the exclusive Ensemble: Sorcerer's Grassy Garb transmog set from August 11 through September 8. To participate, players must watch at least four hours of eligible World of Warcraft streams and maintain linked Battle.net and Twitch accounts.

How the Campaign Works

The promotion runs for nearly four weeks, beginning August 11 at 10:00 am Pacific Daylight Time and concluding September 8 at the same hour. Players can accumulate viewing time across multiple channels without penalty—switching between streamers does not reset progress toward the four-hour requirement. The transmog set serves as cosmetic gear that alters character appearance without affecting gameplay mechanics.

To be eligible, players must connect their accounts through Battle.net's connections portal at account.battle.net/connections. Account linking requires signing in to Battle.net, selecting the Twitch connection option, and following the authentication flow. Once linked, players can claim drops directly from the channel they are watching or through their Drops Inventory menu on Twitch.

Important Technical Details

After claiming a reward on Twitch, the item typically arrives in-game within 24 hours. The platform supports drops on PC and Mac web browsers as well as the official Twitch mobile applications for Android and iOS. Console versions and smart TV apps do not support drop functionality. Players should ensure they are logged into their preferred Battle.net region before claiming drops, as the first region accessed determines where rewards are delivered.

If account information has recently changed or been reset, players must relink their Twitch and Battle.net accounts. A seven-day cooldown applies between relinking sessions with different Twitch accounts on the same Battle.net profile. Unclaimed drops expire seven days after being earned if no Battle.net account remains linked.
