WWE Schedules Worlds Collide at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Creating Direct Competition with AEW All Out

WWE announced 14 fall event dates across the United States, with Worlds Collide scheduled for September 26 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Chicago—the same day and city as AEW All Out. The event will feature WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Superstars, continuing the cross-promotional partnership that debuted last year. Tickets go on sale July 24 at 10 a.m. local time, with an exclusive presale beginning July 23.

The Head-to-Head Matchup

The scheduling creates a significant competitive moment in professional wrestling. AEW All Out is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET at Now Arena, also in Chicago, forcing fans and ticket buyers in the region to choose between the two major wrestling promotions. This marks the second direct head-to-head conflict between WWE and AEW this year, following an earlier clash when WWE's NXT Heatwave ran opposite AEW All In on August 30.

Gainbridge Fieldhouse last hosted WWE in July during a Raw broadcast, where approximately 12,493 tickets were distributed. The venue's selection for Worlds Collide positions WWE to compete directly for Chicago's wrestling audience during what is historically a significant weekend for wrestling fans.

The Worlds Collide Event

Worlds Collide represents the second installment of the WWE and AAA partnership. The inaugural event last year was headlined by Dominik Mysterio defeating El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship and was made available through YouTube. The September event will continue showcasing talent from both organizations, blending WWE's roster with Mexico's prominent AAA wrestlers.
