Wallace opened the season with competitive results, including a recent Brickyard 400 victory that positioned him as a strong contributor to 23XI Racing's roster. Through his first five races, he accumulated four top-10 finishes and maintained an average finishing position of 8.8, putting him on track for career-best performance numbers during what amounted to a contract evaluation period.
