During the Mother's Day confrontation, Bunnie said she became so frustrated that she told Jelly Roll to file for divorce. She did not anticipate he would actually proceed with the filing. "We are having our little nugget together," she stated, underscoring that their commitment to parenthood transcends the marital separation. She maintained that she and Jelly Roll "are ending this marriage on the best possible terms," having spoken for two hours shortly before recording her public statement.
