The change represents a last-minute adjustment to accommodate Leicester's requirements, though it brings the match closer to both teams' preparation locations on Spain's southern coast.

Venue Change and Logistics

The fixture was initially arranged to take place at Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras but has now been moved to one of the pitches managed by Marbella Football Center. Leicester City had previously played another friendly match at the original Algeciras location and cited concerns about surface quality as the primary reason for requesting alternative arrangements.

Ticket holders who purchased seats for the Algeciras venue will receive automatic refunds if their purchase was made online. Those who bought tickets at the box office must collect refunds in person from the Cádiz ground's ticket office beginning next Monday. The Marbella facility has a capacity of approximately 1,700 supporters, with online ticket sales for the relocated match opening immediately through the Marbella Football Center website.
