Rachel Zegler is set to reprise her Olivier Award-winning performance as Eva Perón in a reimagined production of Evita on Broadway, with ticket sales now open for performances beginning February 27, 2027 at the Winter Garden Theatre. The production, helmed by director Jamie Lloyd, represents a radical rethinking of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical epic. An official opening night is scheduled for March 25, 2027.

Jamie Lloyd, who previously directed the Tony Award-winning revival of Sunset Boulevard, brings his signature style to this staging of Evita. The director's approach reimagines the classic musical, which chronicles the life of Eva Perón, the Argentine First Lady whose political influence remains historically contentious. Lloyd's interpretation of the work follows his success with other Webber musicals, establishing him as a key creative force in bringing fresh perspectives to established theatrical works.

The Winter Garden Theatre will host this production, which precedes another Lloyd-directed musical at the same venue. Much Ado About Nothing, a confetti-coated adaptation, will occupy the space from October 31, 2026 through January 10, 2027 before Evita takes the stage.
