Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick Weds Fox News White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich in Manhattan Ceremony

U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, a Pennsylvania Republican, married Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich in an elaborate Manhattan ceremony attended by prominent political and media figures. The celebration included a service at Saint Patrick's Cathedral and a nighttime yacht reception featuring remarks from former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and former Senator Joe Manchin.

The 52-year-old congressman and 37-year-old journalist exchanged vows before approximately 302 guests on Saturday. The reception aboard the vessel Horizon's Edge featured a 10-piece brass band and incorporated meaningful family traditions. The couple selected a cake-cutting song written by Fitzpatrick's great-uncle, an NYPD officer killed in the line of duty, while acknowledging Heinrich's parents' own chartered cruise wedding.

Fitzpatrick and Heinrich selected New York as their wedding location due to its significance in launching both their careers—his as an FBI agent and hers as a network correspondent—and its connection to their families' immigration history. The city served as a central meeting point for relatives traveling from New England and Pennsylvania. Fellow Fox News employees and Republican figures including U.S. Representative Don Bacon and former Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer attended the event. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro received an invitation but was unable to participate.

The couple first met in Washington when Heinrich covered Congress before transitioning to White House reporting in May 2021. Fitzpatrick initiated their relationship by inviting her to the Kennedy Center Honors. Heinrich disclosed that she cleared the relationship with Fox News leadership. The pair has become one of Capitol Hill's most visible political-media couples, occasionally attracting attention from former President Donald Trump, who recently made critical remarks about Fitzpatrick's voting record during a question posed by Heinrich, who serves as vice president of the White House Correspondents Association.
