Sophie described Dave as initially appearing like a red flag but ultimately proving to be "the greenest flag," praising his ability to make her feel safe—something she emphasized as "very sacred" in her address to the cast during the finale.

Dave reciprocated the sentiment, stating he cares about Sophie deeply and views their mutual support as the essence of compatibility. "Seeing her be herself and giving her a safe space—and she allows me to do that—that's what a perfect match is to me," he explained in the episode.

Distance and Future Plans

Both contestants acknowledged the geographical obstacle ahead. When discussing their vacation plans, Sophie and Dave expressed their desire for a tropical destination where they could relax together. However, reality looms large. Dave openly admitted during the finale that "we do live very, very far away from each other, and it's going to be super hard."
