Reports indicated that the pitch at the Tampa venue—home to the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers—was installed only a week before the fixture, with photographs showing what appeared to be disjointed sections of the newly laid grass surface. The Football Association's travelling ground staff have been communicating with stadium officials regarding the condition of the pitch.

Despite initial concerns raised after viewing journalist photographs, Tuchel stated his approach remains unchanged. "I saw a photo from a journalist which made me a little bit worried and concerned, but let's decide when we are there," he explained during a Friday news conference. "If there are any issues, we can always react to it."

Squad Preparation and Selection Plans

England trained with 27 players on Friday as part of their West Palm Beach camp. Tuchel outlined a strategic approach to the fixture, planning to field two complete teams and rotate players at the halfway point, ensuring every squad member receives approximately equal minutes. The arrangement allows the coaching staff to continue balanced training loads over the subsequent three days.

Arsenal's Champions League final participants—Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Declan Rice, and Bukayo Saka—were absent from Friday's session.
